Advanced Interfaces
Advanced Interfaces is a proposed new one-year post grad diploma program where students learn to create content for advanced interfaces such as Augmented Reality, Physical Computing, Gesture Technology, Wearable Computing, Brain Control and Interactive Surfaces. Applicants will come from backgrounds in Art, Design, Computing, Enginneering, Architecture, Making, Inventing and Ideation. They will have aptitude for both design and development - aesthetics and logic. They will be independent learners who want to build complete projects with these advanced computer-aided technologies.
Graduates will work in labs at marketing and interactive agencies; in emerging hardware and software companies, as installation artists or technicians at museums and galleries; in experimental fashion and entertainment industries; as entrepreneurs with new products and services; and in future as-yet-to-be-determined positions.
