interactive multimedia

Sheridan Interactive Multimedia is a one-year, graduate certificate program where students learn programming, interface and user-centred design and project management skills to build interactive digital environments in which people can communicate and create content. The program curriculum encompasses: games and puzzles; tools and applications; artistic and experimental work; and rich media and simulations for education and entertainment.

our program

Our one year post grad college program has a mandate to train designers, programmers and managers in all three disciplines with an overall push towards creativity in the area of interactive content. Skills are learned to handle graphics, text, animation, audio and video using leading and current software such as Adobe CS4, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP and MySQL.

Adobe CS4 - Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premiere

The program runs from September to May and is generally all weekdays with Mondays free. Class size is limited to 24 students and classes are held in a dedicated studio lab. Student experiences include individual and group projects, live client work and interaction with top industry professionals throughout the school year.
