To create a personal website on a topic of your choosing.

The weighting in this course is towards the technical aspects of web page design. As such the mark is focused primarily on your use of XHTML and CSS.

Your pages must be XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant unless they contain Flash. In Sem2 will examine ways of making embedded Flash compliant. (pages containing embedded Flash will likely fail validation)

Separate the style from the document structure through the use of CSS.

Avoid the use of depricated HTML or physical tags over logical tags.

The project is worth 30% of 5 credits and is due Dec 8 at 4pm. It should be posted on the IMM server in your directory unless an external site is arranged. All files must also be submitted on a CD labelled with your name.
