Fly Out or Dropdown menu - Dreamweaver

There are pros and cons to building Fly Out menus:

Pros:

  • Allow for more menu items in a limited space
  • Shows the user the hierarchy of site navigation

    Cons:

  • Requires good "mouse" control
  • Used often when navigation was poorly planned
  • Can cover over content
