PERT

When creating a budget and you have varying amounts of costs and time, use PERT to give you a more defined metric.

P = Pessimistic

R = Realistic

O = Optimistic

If you ask three different people how long something will take or cost, you will generally get three different answers.

Using PERT will give you better estimate.

Estimated Time = O + 4R + P / 6

Given: Junior Designer = 10 hours; Intermediate Designer = 6hours; Senior Designer = 4hours;

What would be a proper estimate to use for scheduling and budgeting?
