Course Description
In this course, students will continue to learn about the entrepreneurial process by examining the work of past and present interactive multimedia pioneers and their technology. An analysis of the effects of new technologies will set the stage for a series spotlights and guest lectures on interactive multimedia topics such as new ways to communicate and publish with blogs, wikis, podcasts, etc. as well as exciting ways of the future such as mediated reality, and mobile technologies.

At the end of each lecture, students will prepare a Blog entry about the topics with links that they have gathered from research and the presenter's speech.

Throughout the course the creative and entrepreneurial process will be explored. Activities will be applied to re-enact crucial inventive steps including a final prototype assignment to create a feature in Flash for a mobile application. Where possible students will be given hands on experience with final products and their coding.

Program Context
In general, the program focuses necessarily on the most popular and current interactive multimedia tools. This course helps students see beyond the current tools and diversify to maintain a broader perspective. This newfound perspective will help the students and the industry grow with an infusion of creativity and entrepreneurialism.

This second term course will look at three technologies as did the first term.
