MOTION GRAPHICS
Course Description
In this course students will learn motion graphic design and techniques for applying motion graphics. Motion graphics is an extension or perhaps subset of animation. It draws on traditional animation principles and applies the theory and techniques to primarily non-character / non-scenery assets. So this might be buttons and text for the interface of a Web site or bumpers for inbetween shows or starts of movies, etc. Motion graphics is often made with an effects application such as Adobe After Effects or with an application that makes animation such as Adobe Flash. As such, this course extends skills learned in Web Authoring and Audio Video and the motion graphics can be applied to features built in Web Authoring or Audio Video. << Back Interactive Multi Media ~ School of Computing & Information Management ~ Sheridan College |
