In this course, students will examine post production of audio video with After Effects. This includes applying masks, text and animation to video. A series of effects are available in After Effects to both affect video and to render video (such as loops of cells or lightning). Keying techniques will be learned so that background transparent video can be brought into other applications like Flash to overlay on Web sites. DVD authoring will also be examined to give learners a broad set of Audio Video skills.

In the first term learners looked at the basic capture and editing of video and how to make interactive video. In the second term we extend the skills in working with video and learn to create video that is useful in interactive work in Web Authoring and in the animated works of Motion Graphics.
