Media

Conduct

Here are some common-sense ground rules for students in the Interactive Media Post-Graduate Program. These are based on previous classroom experiences.

CONTACT CHAIN
Please discuss course related issues with your Professor first. He or she may refer you to the Coordinator and in some cases the Coordinator may refer you to the Associate Dean.

CLASS EDIQUETTE
Please arrive on time. Punctuality and regular attendance in all classes are encouraged. Classroom instruction begins at the time noted on your timetable. Please arrive on time as courtesy to the instructor, to your fellow students and more importantly, to yourself.

Please turn off cellphones during class. If you must have your cellphone on, please set it to quiet alert.

GENERAL POLICIES
General College policies and procedures, including those related to academic and grade appeals, are outlined in the Student Handbook/Tracker's Guide, as well as on the Student Affairs Advocacy web site (http://www.sheridanc.on.ca/stservices/advocacy/). It is the responsibility of every student to obtain a copy of the Student Handbook and to understand and follow the processes outlined.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. are part of our culture and indeed we design and build for these environments. Healthy usage of social media in organizing ourselves, learning and preparing for industry is important.
